Magnolia Cottage was indeed the most craft demanding project for the Yourantai architects. Hanging to a steep slope, this cottage took almost a year to complete. It also turned out to be one of the most charming houses, giving a sensation of a suspended platform above the river and jungle. Two completely independent rooms with separate entrances, private bathrooms and balconies also add a feeling of a labyrinth to the house.
The Left quarter is harmonious in proportion. It is equipped with a king-size+ bed (put together with two single German Mattresses, or to separate into two single beds), sitting on a generous platform made of old tropical hard wood, a perfect balcony with a glimpse over the Mekong River, and a bathroom with shower and a mini garden inside.
The Right quarter gives a great sensation of nesting above a growing forest garden. It is equipped with two single beds (Heavenly Bed Mattresses), made of old tropical wood and has a spacious bathroom with view and shower. Its terrace is a great place for bird watching...
